Airport Assessment

Advance planning is the key to uneventful foreign operations. To assure success, FAM provides airport threat assessments that include current information about country destination threats, potential airfield security hazards and recommended protective options to mitigate threats posed to the passengers, crewmembers, and aircraft while on scheduled ground time in a country destination. The airport threat assessments specialist advice is available upon request directly from FAM.

The information provided in these reports is from consistent intelligence and liaison networks within the airport destination country. These liaison networks are closer to the center of the conditions and know the problems and probable threats. The objective of FAM airport threat assessments is to ensure that the destination airport and surroundings for planned landings do not present a threat to safety or security. This is particularly important at overseas airports that have poor reputation for safety and security.

FAM should be contact prior to any international flight to check for unusual hazardous situations that may impact the security of a planned flight. The airport threat assessment is a vital fundamental for all overseas travel.

FAM keeps clients aware of potential problems and should be consulted prior to departure for questionable countries.
